Class Information

Faux Masters Studio is the West Coasts most influential faux and decorative training facility, and currently the largest Faux Effects retailer nationwide. Our mission at Faux Masters Studio is, “to provide a level of customer service that strengthens and improves the talent, knowledge, and excitement of our customers. Using generations of knowledge and experience, our staff is committed to topnotch service and support with a business ethic of honesty and professionalism, which we are sure will add value to ones business.”

Workshops are available for various skill levels including, beginning decorative painting to advanced faux finishing, modern to Old World plaster finishes, to fine furniture and cabinetry techniques. Our classes are created to address your specific needs! – And, we train on Orange Peel and Knockdown surfaces.

All of our courses feature products manufactured by Faux Effects International, the industry’s leader in innovative water-based systems available on the market today. A key benefit to these products comes from the company’s commitment to continuous improvement and evolution. According to Bob Hoppe, “These products combined with our high quality education assure students the most up-to-date and in-demand developments in decorative painting and faux finishing.”

Each hands-on workshop is carefully developed to provide students with inspiring, real world training, in the latest faux and decorative finishing techniques. Individuals come away with valuable knowledge that can be put to use immediately. As lead instructor Mike Hoppe says, “We teach the way we would want to be taught. We go to great lengths to make sure each and every student understands the various processes for a successful faux finish. If our students are successful, and most of them are, then we know we have succeeded as their teachers.”

Faux Masters Studio now offers 2 locations to better serve the Western Region, and beyond. Curriculum varies based on location and area trends. For specific class details or assistance with class selection please contact our sales office, toll free, at 888-977-3289.
