Stain & Seal™ - Metallic Copper
Stain and Seal™ stains and seals in one easy operation. Containing high quality finely ground pigments in a unique water based formula, this product is unsurpassed in clarity and richness of color. Stain & Seal™ performs exceptionally well when used in stencil applications, faux marquetry and inlay effects, reviving or toning existing finishes and raw wood. Basic Application:- Sand the wood surface smooth with 220 grit sandpaper and remove all dust.
- Apply the Stain & Seal™ with terry cloth or any lint-free, soft cloth in smooth even strokes.
- Cover the entire work surface. Wait a few minutes and then wipe off any excess.
- Allow 30 minutes to elapse before applying additional coats or before sanding lightly.
- Several coats of Stain & Seal™ may be applied to create a deeper, richer looking finish.
- Layering different stain colors during the application process can customize the color.
- Once the surface is completely dry, sand lightly and then apply a topcoat of AquaGard™, ColorSeal™ or Clear Finishing Paste™.
Tips:- Stain & Seal™ is an excellent product for staining or antiquing pre-existing decorative art finishes.
- To thin Stain & Seal™ add water or Pro FX Custom Thinner™. Use AquaGlaze™ for slower drying.
- Stain & Seal™ color can be adjusted and intensified with the addition of small amounts of AquaColor™.
- Stain & Seal™ can be used to tint AquaCreme™ and AquaGlaze™.
