AquaCreme is a breakthrough in the world of glazing mediums. Clarity, increased open time, excellent working characteristics and durability are just a few of the unique features of AquaCreme. When used in conjunction with AquaColorTM, AquaCreme allows the artisan to execute detailed finishes using translucent layers of color. AquaCreme can be manipulated to an almost dry state, which permits dry brushing and precision smooth blending. It is a perfect medium for advanced finishing techniques such as marbling and wood graining.

Basic Application:

• Apply 2 coats of AquaBond or AquaSeal to seal the work surface.
• To create a translucent Créme glaze, mix AquaCreme with the desired amount of AquaColor . Adjust the depth of the color by varying the amount of AquaColorTM added. For a darker, more intense glaze, add more pigment, for a lighter, softer color, add less pigment.
• Brush, spray or roll the glaze on to the work surface. Bag, sponge or pounce the glaze to eliminate any application tool marks. Soften some areas with a terry cloth and dry brush out.
• If applying a second layer of glaze, let the first layer dry 24 hours (or more depending on the conditions)
• Repeat the above procedure with the second glaze color mixture.
• For additional durability, apply a topcoat of ColorSeal. Increased protection can be achieved with additional coats of AquaGard or Aqua Thane™.
