AquaWax

AquaWax™ is a water base resin and wax formulation. It may be used as a topcoat, toner coat and decorative finishing material. Developed for easy finishing of hard to paint surfaces such as moldings, carved areas and railings, AquaWax™ is a clear wax that can be tinted with AquaColor™, dries to a satin finish and is easily buffed to a higher sheen after it dries to the touch. An excellent stenciling material, AquaWax™ adheres firmly and dries quickly avoiding seepage beneath the stencil edge.

Basic Application:

• Make sure the surface is clean and free of grease, dust, etc. AquaWax™ contains co-solvents and should be applied with caution over sensitive art or color work.
• Lightly rub on the first coat of AquaWax™ with cheesecloth or a soft pad. Get dry.
• Follow with heavier more aggressive applications as each coat dries. Build to a thicker film.
• Buff if desired.

Tips:

• Can be thinned up to 20% with water.
• Apply ColorSeal™ over sensitive art or color work prior to wax application.
• Topcoat with AquaGard™ for increased water and chemical resistance.
• AquaWax™ may be pounced, rubbed or troweled depending on the finish required.

• 16 OZ.: 25 - 50 Square Feet
