C-500 Urethane Gallons

C-500 Urethane™ is a water based, pre-catalyzed polyurethane formulated to be used where maximum durability is desired. Because C-500 Urethane™ contains high grade proprietary urethane resins, this allows the product to fuse to AquaGard™, ColorSeal™ and other commercial grade paints.

Basic Application:

• Ensure the work surface is clean, dry and grease free.
• Prepare the work surface by applying a coat of ColorSeal™, DuraSheen™ or AquaGard™. Because C-500 Urethane™ contains strong co-solvents, it is important to seal the work surface with a harrier coat, especially if delicate artwork is involved.
• Using a sprayer, fine sponge roller, lambs wool applicator or fine brush; apply a light even coat ofC-500 Urethane™ over the work surface. Allow the material to dry a minimum of 12 hours between coats. Two coats are usually sufficient for most applications.
• Where a high build finish is desired, do not exceed 3 coats of C-500 Urethane™.
• Fine sand or polish between coats.

Tips:

• Excellent for interior/exterior applications including water fountain areas and decorative sinks, vanity and kitchen countertops, floors and furniture, as well as decorative walls and trim.
• Thin with water when using C-500 Urethane™ in a spray application. Do not exceed 25% water.
• With its anti-sagging characteristics, C-500 Urethane™ is excellent on vertical surfaces.
• Do not apply in wet, humid or cold conditions.
• Always make a sample to ensure the desired result.
