Designer Foil FX 24" X 200' Rolls

Designer FoilFX™ is easy to use, durable metallic foil that can be used alone or to embellish a variety of finishes when applied over Designer FoilSize™. Available in a variety of colors, Designer FoilFX™ will not tarnish and does not require a sealer. It can be layered to create dimensional metallic effects with more shine than metallic paints.

Basic Application:

• Apply one or two thin coats of Designer FoilSize™ using a foam brush over the area where the Designer FoilFX™ will be placed. For stencil patterns, pounce Designer FoilSize™ through the open stencil areas. Porous surfaces require two coats of size for best results--wait at least 30 minutes between coats
• Allow Designer FoilSize™ to dry to a tack, at least 30 minutes.
• Apply Designer FoilFX™ over Designer FoilSize™ shiny side up and rub using a clean cloth to transfer foil

Tips:

• Sealing Designer FoilFX™ areas with ColorSeal, SetCoat® Clear/AquaSeal™, Varnish Plus™, AquaGardTM/DuraSheen™ or AquaThane™/DuraGard™ will dull the bright Designer FoilFX™ qualities.
• It is best to leave Designer FoilFX™ unsealed.
• Designer FoilFX™ in holographic patterns can be applied in different directions for a dimensional effect.
• After drying, additional coats of Designer FoilSize™ and Designer FoilFX™ can be applied.
• Tone Designer FoilFX™ with FauxColor™ and activate with Activator II™ for a reactive finish.
• Always make a sample to ensure desired results.
