Mica Glow Powder Hi-Lite

MicaGlow™ Powder generates a dramatic luminosity and has excellent reflective qualities. Originally formulated to be used as an additive to Olde World Venetian Wax™, MicaGlow™ Powder can be combined with a number of clear coat materials resulting in a stunningly, radiant finish.

Basic Application:

• Prepare the work surface. Since MicaGlow™ Powder is an additive; make sure that the surface/finish it is applied over is clean and dry.
• Add MicaGlow™ Powder to any clear coat from the Faux Effects™ Pro Line, Aqua Finishing Solutions™ or Gold Label Architectural Line™. Controlling the amount of powder added will determine the intensity of the metallic shimmer. More powder will increase the reflective shimmer; less powder will result in a more subtle effect.
• Following the instructions for the selected clear coat, apply the clear coat/powder mixture using the recommended method of application.

Tips:

• MicaGlow™ Powder can be added to other non-opaque mediums such as, AquaGlaze, AquaCreme™, Faux Creme FX Thinner™ and even PrimEtch™.
• The amount of colored pigment used to tint the glazing medium/clear coat will affect the metallic quality of the MicaGlow™ Powder. More pigment will mask some of the metallic powder, resulting in a diminished metallic effect. Formulate the color pigment to MicaGlow™ Powder ratio carefully.
• Always make a sample to ensure the desired result.
• This product is intended for professional use. A workshop is recommended.
