Texture Coat

A light texture, with superior bonding and sealing qualities, make Texture Coat™ an ideal base coat for Olde World Marmorino™, Olde World Veneziano™, Lusterstone™ and Venetian Gem™. The recommended substrate for layered plaster finishes, Texture Coat™ is also very attractive as a slightly textured finish all on its own.

Basic Application:

• Ensure that the work surface is clean and free of dust/grease/film. Texture Coat™ works well over previously painted as well as unpainted surfaces.
• Using a brush, roller or spray unit, apply a thin, even first coat. Allow the Texture Coat™ to dry for a minimum of 4 hours.
• Repeat the above step, permitting the final coat to dry thoroughly, approximately 4 hours before applying any textured or heavy material to the work surface.

Tips:

• Product should not be used as a stain blocker or drywall sealer.
• Adheres to wood, concrete and laminates.
• Multiple thin coats work best
• Texture Coat™ may he lightly tinted using Faux Créme Color™ or AquaColor™.
• Always make a sample to ensure the desired result.
